Pocket Bible is an offline Bible-reading and devotional app. This policy covers the whole app, because there isn't much to cover: the app does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to us or anyone else.
INTERNET permission at all, so it cannot send data
anywhere even if it wanted to.The app saves a few things so it works the way you'd expect between sessions — your saved verses, any Bible reading bookmarks you set, and your chosen display language. All of this is stored in a local database on your device only, using Android's standard app storage. It is never sent off your device. Uninstalling the app deletes it.
The app's "About & Sources" screen links out to the public source pages and license text for the Bible translations it bundles (e.g. eBible.org, Creative Commons). Tapping one of these opens your device's own browser to an external site not operated by us — the privacy practices of those sites are their own, not covered by this policy.
Because the app collects no data of any kind from anyone, this applies equally regardless of the user's age.
If this app ever starts collecting data in the future, this page will be updated first, before that change ships.
